Get a free QuickCreditScore check by applying here.

Apex Credit Management Debt Collection Agency is a debt collecting agent that has purchased a debt account from the original creditor, often a bank (or in some cases another debt purchaser) for about 10 percent or less of the original value of the debt and is attempting to get the full value from you.

Apex Credit Management Debt Collection Agency will use all sorts of nasty methods to get you to set up a standing order or direct debit so that they can make a quick profit. You may have already experienced bad dealings with them. They may call you on the phone at strange times and do so unacceptably often. They may write official-appearing nastily worded letters threatening to send someone round to collect the amount in full or take you to court if you cannot pay. Their other tactics may include attempting to make a charging order on your property or make you lose your home.

So ask Apex Credit Management Debt Collection Agency for a copy of the original contract when you took out your loan or credit card.

My thanks to Consumer Action Group for extracts from their forum:

Hi,
I really need some advice, I have recently paid off Apex Credit Management Debt Collection Agency £500 for a dispute I had with a previous company that was passed onto them. After reading some of these posts I'm concerned that I've just paid someone who had no right to take the money. They sound like absolute cowboys. I checked my credit profile and realised that despite paying £500 about a month ago the debt still appears on my credit file as default. Any advice on what to do next would be greatly appreciated.

We comment: Apex Credit Management Debt Collection Agency or indeed any other debt purchasing company has no interest in clearing up the mess it has left on your credit record. Why should it bother? It isn't getting any money out of it.

It is still staggering that behaviour ike that is allowed to go on. It is a throwback to Dickensian times. But unlike debtor prisons, capital punishment for stealing an apple and the Workhouse, the debt purchasing industry has never been amputated from our society. For some reason it continues to thrive more than ever. It is interesting, also, to note that foreign capital has flocked to our shores to finance the debt purchasing industry because so many other places do not allow such practices!

If you have any information that you would like honest people to know about Apex Credit Management Debt Collection Agency then send us an email in complete confidence and we will try to corroborate it with the clowns involved.
